As Terapi Avrupa, we offer psychological counseling, not therapy.
Psychological counseling provides guidance on issues encountered in daily life such as stress, anxiety and relationship problems. It is non-diagnostic and does not include medication.
Therapy is a more in-depth process applied in cases that require a clinical diagnosis. It is usually long-term and in some cases medication may be required. This type of therapy is only conducted by clinical psychologists or psychiatrists.
We at Terapi Avrupa focus on understanding you, assessing your problems together and supporting you to find solutions. If there is a condition that requires medical diagnosis or clinical treatment, we will refer you to appropriate therapy services.
Across the platform, we prefer the word “therapy” because it is more common and understandable among users.
Terapi Avrupa offers a private consultancy service; therefore, fees are not covered by health insurance. Since our service is not considered psychotherapy, insurance reimbursement is not possible.
Our consultations with the psychologist take place online via the Google Meet platform.
In the first step, you select a psychologist on the Terapi Avrupa platform and make your appointment.
When your appointment time arrives, you can start the consultation via a Google Meet link that is only for you and your psychologist.
This link will be sent to you via email immediately after you have made your appointment.
When making an appointment, you only need to enter your name and e-mail address. An account is automatically created for you with this information. You can view the details of your appointments using this account; however, you do not need to actively use the account to make or attend your appointment.
All necessary information about your appointment will be sent to you via e-mail.
If you wish, you can easily delete your account later.
Yes, it is possible to cancel or postpone your sessions via your client panel. However, you must do so at least 24 hours before the session time.
On our platform, you can receive support from expert psychologists on a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship problems, family conflicts, low self-esteem, grief, and trauma.
All interviews are conducted in accordance with confidentiality principles and your information will not be shared with third parties in any way.
