Hello, I am Damla Yanıkkol İşler. In 2012, after graduating from Ankara University Psychology undergraduate program with the first rank, I completed my master's degree in the Department of Clinical Psychology at the same university. During my master's degree, I conducted supervised interviews with the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach. In 2014, I had the opportunity to work with the elderly in institutional care, families with social-economic deprivation and children in need of protection with various traumatic experiences in various institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Policies. The experiences I have gained in the field and the trainings I have received have given me the competence to evaluate the inner world of individuals in a multidimensional way and to develop a holistic therapy approach specific to each individual.
I have been living in Germany for almost three years and providing online services to my clients. I know both professionally and personally that being a migrant is not only a physical relocation; it brings with it many experiences related to identity, belonging, cultural adaptation, language and emotions.
I provide online counseling services in areas such as migration-related difficulties, adaptation problems, anxiety, depression, loss and grief, stress, anger problems, family boundary and communication problems, childbirth (prenatal and puerperium difficulties), personality disorders, relationship problems. I also seek solutions together with my clients by providing parent counseling for difficulties encountered in the parenting process.
I would be pleased to be your companion for a psychological counseling process that proceeds without judgment, in trust and confidentiality.
