You briefly introduce yourself
You share in a few sentences why you are looking for support. You don’t have to go into detail.
A free introductory call with a Turkish psychologist, for Turks living in Europe: meet your Turkish-speaking psychologist online, from home. Ask your questions, hear how they work — and answer the question “Could I work well with this person?” before your first session.
The booking calendar is in Turkish — all our psychologists speak Turkish. Other languages they work in are listed on their profiles.
Free and without commitment. Your details stay confidential.
One of the most important things in therapy is trust between you and your psychologist, which is hard to judge from a profile photo or a few lines. A free introductory call removes this uncertainty: in 15 minutes you hear their voice, ask your questions and notice whether you feel at ease — without paying or promising anything.
| Feature | Free introductory call | First session |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 15 minutes | 50 minutes |
| Cost | Free | Fees from 60 € |
| Purpose | Getting to know each other, asking your questions | Starting to work on your concern |
| Afterwards | No commitment — the decision is yours | You plan the next step together |
| Who it’s for | Anyone who wants to be sure or is starting for the first time | Anyone who has chosen their psychologist and is ready to begin |
The introductory call is a short, relaxed conversation. You explain in a few sentences why you are looking for support, and the psychologist describes how they work and answers the questions on your mind. At the end, you leave with a clear sense of whether working together feels right for you.
You share in a few sentences why you are looking for support. You don’t have to go into detail.
You hear about their approach, how the sessions run and the path they might take with your concern.
Fees, how often you would meet, confidentiality, times — there is room to ask whatever is on your mind.
Important: The introductory call is a free consultation to get to know each other — it is not therapy, diagnosis or treatment. Its purpose is for you to meet before you decide to work together.
The psychologists at Terapi Avrupa work in Turkish, their diplomas are verified, and they know what life in Europe brings with it — being far from home, family expectations, living between two cultures. Most of them offer a free introductory call; the calendar shows you who does.

I graduated top of my year from the Psychology Department of Ankara Üniversitesi in 2012. I was then accepted onto the “Clinical Psychology” master’s programme at the same university, which I completed with my thesis “Erken Dönem Uyumsuz Şemalar ile Kendine Zarar Verme Davranışı Arasındaki İlişki: Duygu Düzenleme ve Kişiler Arası İlişki Tarzlarının Aracı Rolü”. During and after my master’s I provided counselling from the cognitive behavioural therapy tradition. From 2014 onwards, in various institutions of the Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Policies, I had the opportunity to work with older people in residential care, with families in socio-economic hardship and with children in need of protection who had lived through various traumatic experiences. The experience and training I gained in that period gave me the ability to look at a person’s inner world from several angles and to develop a holistic approach tailored to each individual. I have been living in Germany for some time and offer online counselling in areas such as migration-related difficulties, problems of adjustment, anxiety, depression, loss and grief, stress, anger control, boundary and communication problems within the family, childbirth (difficulties before birth and in the postnatal period) and relationship problems. I also work with parents on the difficulties of parenting and develop solutions together with them.
